This article is for the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) jams only.
Most cases the best solution is to replace the ADF rollers and Separator, unfortunately those parts are not available anymore.
In the case that the paper leading edge get stock under the 2nd roller:
check if the 2nd roller can be roll both way by using your finger gently turning the roller back and forth, the roller should turn freely only when you turn it counter clockwise in the direction the paper goes, if you can turn it clockwise the 2nd roller clutch bushing (on the roller drive gear) disengaged from the gear, this is part of the roller and can be repaired.
